Please be advised that checks take 3 to 5 days to clear. Unless a check has cleared your eligibilty for health insurance cannot be updated. If the check clears after the end of the 31 day grace period, your payment cannot be accepted and your health insurance will terminate as of the last day of the month for which you have paid your premium. Therefore, you may want to consider paying by credit card or cash, if you are making a premium payment close to the end of the 31 day grace payment.
