WEB NETWORK PROVIDER DIRECTORY

In order to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses, you should use CIGNA In-Network providers whenever possible. One way to locate and identify CIGNA In-Network providers is through the CIGNA website. The following instructions explain how to do this.

1. Log on to www.CIGNA.com

2. Near the middle area of the website there is a section that is labeled "Find a Doctor". Beneath are the following links. Select any one in order to begin your search.

  • Find doctors or dentists by specialty
  • Find hospitals, facilities & pharmacies
  • CIGNA Voluntary Directories
  • Fundamental Care Provider Directories

3. At the next screen you would specify whether you were looking for a Physician, Pharmacy, Hospital or Facility/Ancillary. You would also indicate the zip code and any mileage requirements. After that hit "Next".

4. On the next screen, under the section that reads "What type of plan do you have?", choose the second available option. This choice reads "Open Access Plus ONLY: For other Open Access benefit plans choose "Out of Network Provider Discount Search (Network Savings Program)".

5. On this screen you will also choose the type of physician that you are looking. Do not use the option that is listed Primary Care Physician. Instead, the default option will be to Specialist. All provider types including internists, general practitioners etc. will be listed here. Choose which provider type you are looking for. After hitting the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page, the next screen will provide the list of provider names.

You can also obtain information on network providers by using the CIGNA Enrollment Helpline and CIGNA Careline described above or by calling the Fund Office.
